What to expect

A home washer often cannot move a king comforter around properly, which can leave dry patches and trapped odours. Fresh Laundromat’s XL machines provide the drum space bulky bedding needs to tumble freely, helping detergent reach the whole load and allowing the rinse cycle to work more effectively. Bring comforters, mattress protectors, dog beds, winter coats and other bulky items in one trip. Leave about a football-sized space at the top of the drum, then let the machine do the rest.

How it works on the day

Four simple steps, start to finish, whichever machine you are using.

  • Run the free rinse

    Tap the screen and choose the free one-minute rinse before loading your bedding or bulky items.

  • Load and add products

    Leave about a football-sized space at the top of the drum, then add detergent, softener or bleach as needed.

  • Choose cycle and pay

    Select your cycle and temperature, then pay with quarters or through the Speed Queen app.

  • Dry, fold, done

    Most customers can finish washing, drying and folding in around 45 minutes.
